Cemet, initially established in 1968 as an electrical engineering consultancy and contracting company in Istanbul.
We made our first contact with the tape industry by importing PVC insulation tape back in 1987 and decided to dedicate our expertise in engineering and business to the tape business of Turkey, in 1990.
Since then our company has become one of the leading players in Turkey’s tape industry with its wide range of products, services and solutions.
An ISO 9001 certified establishment since 2004, Cemet continues to work under its 2 separate manufacturing plants with more than 12.800 m2 indoor space which houses its passionate staff, product testing laboratory and its top of the line machine park.
Our first manufacturing plant is located in Istanbul Tuzla free trade zone and focuses on manufacturing pressure sensitive adhesive tapes incorporates different coating lines such as: Silicone, hot melt and water base acrylic coating.
Our second plant serves as the core of our converting, warehousing and distribution operations and currently maintains the largest converting capacity in Turkey.
We are also able to present services like rewinding, slitting, cutting, lamination, sheeting, kiss-die cutting and packaging for customers operating in a wide range of industries such as: Automotive, electronics, house appliances, construction and HVAC.
